Hey friends! Hope your doing well on this Thursday evening. I’ve had a super packed day so far, which is why this is coming so late in the day haha. ⁣ 🛏⁣ Today is the 1st day of the Stay at Home Reading Rush and I have done absolutely zero reading so far today, whoops. 😅 But today’s Instagram challenge is to post my favorite reading spot! So I do a lot of my reading outside of my home, but when I’m at home I’m mainly reading in bed. ⁣ 🛏⁣ I’ve been really careful about putting together my bedroom since I moved into my own apartment in 2018. I struggle with sleep so I try to keep everything as tidy as possible to stick to my nighttime routine. Which includes having my Kindle or the book I’m reading at the time on the nightstand on my side of the bed to read before I sleep.⁣ 🛏⁣ Reading is a big part of my nighttime routine, which has led to my bed becoming my favorite reading spot right now! The #stayhomereadingrush photo challenge day 1: take a photo of your favorite reading spot! . This challenge had me thinking and scrolling to tag and you know my favorite reading is totally not my bed room at home. Right now it's maybe where I read the most, but that doesn't make it my favorite. My favorite spots are actually reading somewhere in a cafe or bookshop im a foreign country or actually just public transport. I don't know why, it's just how it is. . I took this photo last year, when I was staying in Sydney for a month. This is one of those tucked away cafes in a bookstore and I just had an absolute blast sitting there, reading my book and people watching. Looking back at these photos and remembering the great time that i had just gives me so much joy. .
