Ridge Racer Type 4 is one of my alltime faves, style and soundtrack let alone gameplay 🚘 The difference in packaging between the JPN and PAL release is crazy. JPN release has a full colour manual and far better cover and disc artwork. Sunday Sounds #62: On Your Way from Ridge Racer Type 4

I remember the day Ridge Racer Type 4 arrived in the post. I was so excited I ran upstairs to play it, leaving my keys in the door and the door itself wide open.

It didn't dissapoint. The joy of ridiculous powerslides still thrills me to this day and Type 4 remains my favourite Ridge.

I also adored the funky and slightly cheesy music, my favourite being this track...which was just menu music.
