This is just a self-birthday gift that I ended up doing like 2 weeks before my actual birthday (Third sunday of April) but I'll probably be busy with college and work to post it on that day, and I kinda don't trust the whole setting time on it. I usually do a original piece but I decided this year to be a bit self indulgent and do I redraw I wanted to do

I'll focus on continuing my line art practices in the meantime to take some time to relax from RRV stuff (nonetheless I am open for questions or dms ^^)

(This is kinda their relationship in a nutshell, outside the vunerable moments. I don't really have a context for it, i do know the original is when the carriage mishap with the Delgados fully as Malvagos, but for the redrawn I like to think Fiero basically got his point proven right and...well someone is really not liking to admit he was right)

Fiero and Shuriki are my favorite EOA villains and I do wish we have gotten more of them and their dynamic (and the characters that have the completed oufit lineups, so made it easier for reference. And yes, both are teens but like slightly older ones)

(That moment crack me up, and Fiero worked so well as part of the team, then his facepalm and Shuriki slowly regretting her life choices)

And if some were curious, I don't intend many end games (outside a previous one I am working how it would work) so relationships are kinda up to interpretation. The infamous 4 (yes, Queenie finally got a name for ther RRV! Gang. Its part because its a role reversal and because well I do think they would be infamous in Avalor) are friends with some being closer to others, but not a huge romantic thing. I may change my mind in the future who nows

Fiero: *to Shuriki* Calm down, he's a kid

Cedric: *annoyed to Shuriki* Says the OLD lady

Shuriki: *visibly upset* Old?

Fiero: *annoyed. To Shuriki* Drop it.

(Fiero holds Shuriki while she and Cedric fight. Her telling him she will show him what old is and Cedric bringing the curse that led to hee kingdom being frozen in time before arguing more and hissing. Fiero looking done with them)

Took a break from request as i was tired and irl drove me crazy, so I decided to make this silly RRV doodle ft RRV! Cedric (or Prince Cedric) it Probably would be set in "Cedric & the curse of the Northern islands" (the equivalent of the secret of Avalor) where he breaks the accidentally curse a certain princess accidentally did

Buuut what do you get when you have a princess who struggles with emocions and a little boy who absolutely is done saving the realms?

Well for sure a big headache to Fiero

But hey, they'll get along....eventually

I'll eventually get to more official designs for the rest of the characters. I was a bit down last week so the doodle was also a cheer me up

(regarding RRV stf, i don't have much Because i don't even know how it works but for clarity sake. Cedric is a sorcerer prince who still has Cedric's growth and development but he is just done with his "chosen one" destiny)

RRV! STF concepts

First and foremost huge shoutout to my dear friend @artdigi for her amazing ideas and feedback, without her I this RRV! Sofia the first ideas wouldn't possible. And shout out to @shychick-52 for absolutely getting me to ship these two, as well as sharing her amazing posts about Grimix as the S4 villain. Please check them out they are amazing creators.

Originally I didn't have much about the RRV of Sofia the first outside that Cedric would be enchantia's prince but keep the same growth he had, and that Sofia would still have the amulet. Art gave me so much amazing feedback, and its decided that Cedric would be strugling due to having an angel of a friend (his magic tutor and Sorceress Sofia, who might be the royal sorceress) and a literal devil who he looks up to like a fatherly figure, who wants him to steal the amulet.

Who? Well King Grimtrix of course (or Tsar. Still haven't figured out how to call him) and Queen Morgana

They look absolutely sweet and friendly, very much second parents to Cedric. They wouldn't be wolves in sheep's clothing...right?

Well, Art absolutely gave me the amazing idea that these two should be the main villains. Like in RRV! in EOA, Cedric's story would be different, so how about a mentor who behaves like a father figure who in reality is a power hungry monster who never believed in you? Not to mention he only wanted power and your kingdom (not to mention getting back at your father.)

Makes it more heart breaking, considering RRV! Cedric is a young boy finding who he wants to be, and having lots of self-esteem issues.

Nonetheless, their designs were fun. Also credits to Art for the idea that Grimtrix is from Jokkhelheim (which is based in Russia), so his outfit is based on some Tsar's paintings and pictures I found as well as his crown. For Morgana, we did agree that she would be more of an English one, so her outfit I based her on some old English queens, and a bit Jadis from Charn for inspo. Their colors are based off their cannon outfits, but I added some small sharpness to make them look friendly but off.

and of course it can't be an RRV! lore post without a bonus, can't it be?

Grimtrix : you know, Ceddy. You're the son I and Morgana always wanted! Cedric holding his wand. He looks happy: Really? Grimtrix: Of course

Cedric : But..how come you never had kids?

3. Arrow pointing at Grimtrix while he looks nervously shocked: What?

Grimtrix pulling Morgana: Well, you see, Ceddy. Morgie and I are too OLD-

Grimtrix takes blankly as a charging logo is next to him. Morgana rolls her eyes. Grimtrix: Wait.. (Text above reads: Realizes he almost called himself old) Please ignore typo

Grimtix forcing a smile while also being angry. Morgana stares at him unimpress: We're very Occupied for it! (A very small text says "Grimtrix mentally: Now stop asking stupid questions you, little brat…)

Cedric on the right down corner looking confused and holding his wand: …OK?

(Alcazar removes his cloak.)

Alcazar: You know..you could get hexed if You're not paying attention

Fiero(smiling): you did a dirty move sneaking on me like that!

Alacazar (chucklig): Enemies won't care about that

Fiero (playfully): ah! Sorry, I forgot is the grandiose royal wizard spreading his wisdom!

Alacazar (smiling as he hovers over Fiero):I'm just saying..

(Fiero playfully rolls his eyes)

Alacazar (exhausted sits next to Fiero. Fiero still sitting smiles):Now move over, I need to rest...

I know Fiero is a bit ooc but i did wanted for the duo to have a bit of a playful dynamic but also visually show how the war as well as the events that lead to the present affected Fiero.

in your rrv au,if we have “prince”Cedric,then what abt the rest of the royal family??What abt Sofia and her family?

Hiya, Arty!! wonderful question :3

The rest of the royal family are Cedric"s family minus Calista as Cedric and Cordelia are kids (they switch roles with Sofia and her family) i haven't fully figured about their roles but in the RRV universe they alignment change but most of their core personality remains. So Queen Winifred is a mischievous one

I haven't fully figured how it works on Sofia the first, but Sofia is a tutor to Cedric (she will be grown up and her family too), Amber is most likely Princess Cordelia's governess, James Probably a Royal Knight, Roland and Miranda i haven't found out (they're still married btw) but Roland most likely works in the council and Miranda oversees the staff.

Sofia will have the amulet although no one got trapped in, I don't know how it got to enchantia so there's another thing. I do want RRV! Cedric to have a different story than Sofia's, so he"s born into royalty.

It could change im the future, but i am always open for ideas. I'll Probably ask more on the discord server for feedback and ideas

ok i do need a small favor for you guys hehe. I am working on RRV! Esteban (bust for references) and I am working on his alter ego el Charro

buut I am kinda stuck about his hair color. Mask will be improved a bit later, and I'll details in the future when I get his concept done (or the bust)

Here's option 1

I do want him to get his staff ealier, but I do love the idea that he started using smoke and mirrors to bring the Avalorian legend of "El Charro" (a reference of the legend of el Charro Negro) to life in order to safely defy Queen Elena as he wants the best for his family and Avalor.

So with the staff he learned a minor spell that leds him change the color of his hair, without it he uses makeup and powder to hide his hair (if the grey hair remains. I did considered using white, but it clashed too much with the colors)

Option 2

He uses his naturally hair. It was the initial concept for it and kinda does give off that it could be him (Something that the Crown Princess finds out but kepts his secret as he did saved her life on Hallow's Eve, and something else to give Captain Nunez a hint that the mysterious Ghost that has been foiling Queen Elena's plans may not be a ghost at all)

BTW he is a older teen and he does kinda look off with the gray hair lol.

Also i did originally thought of using his usual hairstyle but @/timetravalor's wokr did inspired me to led him loosely, so he looks more ghostly and legend like his suit will be altered a bit, but it would resemble skeleton bones.

I do think I'll probably make Esteban get his staff much later, but the charro will remain as a mysterious ally to the magic 4 (title working in progress) and a foe to Queen Elena and her friends.
