Optimism was a tool for the weak who needed something to believe in when they’re own gifts weren’t enough to get them through. A word that people used to hide the fact that they were scared of the uncertain. Michelle was anything but an optimist, but, she did understand the need for optimism when you had nothing else to lean on. However, regardless of how much you believed that smiling through any situation would cause you to achieve your goals, it wasn’t always the case. Michelle had learnt that from a very young age.
“Optimism isn’t always good, but it can be a great tool!” she exclaimed. “Especially when it comes to speaking about my talents as a magician and the things that it shall bring me. After all, I am a master at my trade, hehe~!” Michelle paused. “However, it is the fear of the uncertain and the idea of doubt that causes me to be so successful, so if people believed I could pull off my tricks, they wouldn’t come.”
Michelle smiled. “It all has to do with context! Context is key, hehe!”
