Momentum || Georgia & Claire
Whoooooaa. Adonea certainly had the right idea in mind when it came to the newest technology. What were they? Forward thinkers? Goddess, that just didn’t seem like the right word for their caliber. Curiosity danced on the surface of her eyes, flicking from the sleek exhaust pipes to the austere wood planks lining the walls. Officially, they said this thing was run on fuel and steam but… but… the rumors had it that it was also run on magic. Magic! Stars blinked in her eyes. Heck, she couldn’t figure out what a country so closed off from Razalune, so radically different– would operate.
Was the whole magic thing– real?
It was so hard to wrap her head around that, but after she met the Goddess face-to-face, she supposed she couldn’t say otherwise. And that– that! Was immensely amusing to her. (It’d only make life more fun anyway, haha!) With a skip to her step, Claire strolled down the cabin hallways, as her reflection glided down each of the well-polished pipes. Weird glass tubes filled with colorful liquids were attached in strange places, and about fifty theories bubbled to the surface of her mind by the sheer look of them. She was so engrossed in the crafting of this giant behemoth that she didn’t notice the obvious. There was no one else left, down in the cabins.
By the time she was up on deck, Claire gave a quick look about and took note of how oddly quiet things were. Too quiet. She knew separating from the tour guide was okay– he even said so! Ah– but at least there was still one girl still aboard! With brunette curls aflame and tussling in the slight breeze. Tapping on her shoulder, Claire peeked over from behind the pretty girl to flash her a signature lopsided grin.
“Hey! The name’s Claire, nice to meet you, haha!” Scratching the back of her neck, she held out her other for a firm handshake. “I was starting to wonder if the airship tour just up and left us behind.”
“But, hey. Even if it did, at least this ship’s got you and I on board, huh?”
