Realizing I misunderstood the social cue 12 hours later.

31 and triggered by our mother like we’re 15 years old still.

Gonna go on vacation and visit the parental units tomorrow. I’m stressing and my nervous system is so shot rn. HOWEVER i am also extremely proud of us as… we have successfully begun The Plan.

Overview:

There are three major transportation steps to this.

From where I live, it is a 30 minute drive a ferry. A 35 minute ferry to the city. Either a 30 minute cab ride, or an hour fast train to the airport.

Not too bad…… if the buses were in operation early on Sundays!!!! And I am not paying 2 weeks of parking, so driving myself is out of the question.

My roommate cannot give me a ride when she goes to work, as.. she goes to work at 12am (she’s actually leaving now 😂)

Anyone else it would be a major inconvenience. I refuse to inconvenience a single person.

The Plan:

I have a family friend who lives a 40 minute walk from the ferry. He doesn’t need his car tonight.

So, today, I took the bus to work!! Very exciting. I was the only passenger on the bus. My boss gave me a ride to family friend’s house. I watched a movie with him, and then stole his car for the night. (I don’t count this as an inconvenience to him dw about it)

I’m going to catch the 7:05 boat, forces willing. So, I’ll leave my house tomorrow at 5:50am. Drop his car off, and walk myself to the ferry. IF he is awake then I will ask for a ride. But it is very early on a weekend.

Anyway, once I’m at the ferry it’s extremely straightforward to get to the airport. Public transportation a plenty. Not on my side of the water. I will have plenty of time to get through security. And then I will leave my problems in this state!!!!

Was gonna vent and then was like, I never wished happy Halloween here and that blindsided me from my angst.

System related retrospective + talk of catfishing LMAO

That time we accidentally catfished someone on Red vs Blue slash livejournal 2007/2008 but in retrospect it was an alter playing with gender identity and.. overall identity. He shouldn’t have said he was 18 when we were 14, though, that wasn’t the intelligent internet safety choice.

They mainly just vented to each other though. And talked about RVB. She confessed feelings for him and got turned down but kept talking to us. And then start begging to meet us and that’s when I finally stopped trying to repress what was going on and… I never told the truth I just said school was too busy and deleted the account… 😬😅

I think he’s dormant now, but our little chose his name which I’ve always found kind of funny.

I can’t believe Lord of the Rings: Rise to War is shutting down its servers in December.. I haven’t played it in years (as it was a massive time and financial investment)

I enjoy real time strategy games, so it was perfect for me. It would stress almost anyone else out - so it was, like, the best way to get Me Time too. Not to mention, I love LotR and fantasy Dwarven culture and lore.

Good bye (wipes tear) Balin, Dwalin, Gimli, and Dáin. You served me incredibly well. I wish thee prosperity in Khazad-dûm.
