It was a normal afternoon, the day after a nice ceremony when a loud BANG resounded through the Sagrada Hall’s property. No one’s sure how it happened or why, but the staff quickly exited the building, just in time to see what was left of the kitchen go up in flames. Thankfully, no one was in there at the time of the explosion, with the Caterer out of town and the Servers in one of the break room. But that only raised more questions as to who did it. Sirens rang in their ears as the firefighters came to drench the bright fire. Sitting there terrified, covered in soot and worried was the staff, wondering if they would have jobs the next day. They wouldn’t, at least not there. With the crumbling structure devoid of flame, just a wet black mess, they went to survey the damage. The kitchen was severely damaged, with the industrial stove almost unrecognizable. The ballroom itself had fared better but just barely. The usual whimsical effect it usually had on visitors was replaced with a dark eeriness instead. Extinguished before the fire got past the ballroom, the offices and staff room were safe, with only smoke clinging to the walls within. Though all seemed to be lost, they promised each other they would R E B U I L D.
RSVPHQ is officially on hiatus, but only for a bit! We’ll be back with some fresher plots (some revolving the explosion and rebuilding of the hall), a few new character skeletons, and a lot more wedding mayhem. Thank you to our members both past and current for your participation, we can’t wait to see you for round two.
