I think all kids, no matter how awkward or popular or athletic or attractive or smart or dumb they are, have that moment where they feel like an outcast and they don’t feel like they fit in. Where I was living and where I grew up was not a great fit. Punk rock was like an adrenaline shot to say, “Hey, you’re not the only one that feels this way.”

My second team tonight are what some might consider fierce, some might say they are “crushing it,” others would say they are “goals as fuck”. You might even use another generic hip term that all the kids are using these days to hype them up. Me, I just call them my OTP.
