One could drown in Atlas’ poorly knit streets and suffocate on the ever lingering dust. Or find themselves consumed by the underbelly of a floating city. But on the edge, where one boy often found himself. You could see the world. The expanse of freedom that could be breathtaking when light hit it just right. And the deadly wilds could be forgotten in that moment alone...the smallest taste of something bigger. It could be gorgeous some days.
