After a few changes, I finally finished drawing Duck!
Warning: Spelling and grammatical errors may occur.
To be honest, Duck, Selly, and Victor were the most difficult to design. I didn't like the initial design, and I constantly made changes.
So, originally, I wanted to make Duck a Rainwing, but then I remembered that he was the only train that could swim in water, so I decided to make him half a Seawing, and soon I removed the half Rainwing and replaced it with a Skywing.
Duck's wings are based on the elliptical wings of a sparrow (as strange as it may sound), which are designed for quick bursts of speed or short, slow flights. As for the body, I tried to make it more plump (as much as my drawing skills allowed), and after a lot of debate and persuasion, I finally added a massive tail.
As for the abilities, well, I tried to keep it as canon as possible. Seawing's basic skills include being a great swimmer and being able to breathe underwater. Remember Duck's abilities? Well, I didn't, and I only remembered them when I was already done with the previous design. That's why I removed half of Rainwing and replaced it with Skywing. So, now Duck can spit boiling water. If the Skywings can breathe fire and are hot (literally), can they theoretically heat things up inside themselves? Let's assume they can. If Ducky inherited this ability from his Skywing half, he could simply drink water, heat it up inside himself, and spit boiling water at his opponents. (I'll never try to explain such concepts again.)
Have I finished it? Finally. I'll finish Selly soon.
The previous design was for Jeffrey.
