Fuck, the Owl House fandom in Pinterest is so fucked up.

I decided to watch the art on Lunters/ Huntluz (Hunter x Luz), went into the comments and my Geiger counter broke down from so much radiation and toxicity. I have collected several samples of the comments that I "particularly liked".:

"You are engaged in disinformation by drawing/shipping them!!!";

"shipping them is disrespectful to the creators!!!";

"Everyone who ships them is homophobic!!!";

"Willow/Amity will kill them!!!";

"This is not canon!!!";

"Die!!! (reply to one commenter who likes Lunter)";

By the way, it became interesting to me that this bullshit is ubiquitous, so most likely, I'm going to look for similar nuggets in Tumblr now.

Oh, yes. The character that half of the fandom hates I would like to eat (she reminds me of some kind of sweet or yogurt) — Maxie!

Sooo, originally, I wanted to make Maxie a hybrid of Skywing and Silkwing. However, after deciding that such a hybrid would not fit into my crossover, I settled on a simple SilkWing.

I really wanted to make Maxie's antennae fluffy (maybe I'll make them fluffier in the future). I struggled with her color palette and scale pattern for a long time, but Great Starclan, I'm so pleased with the result. (And honestly, I have nothing more to say about her).

When I decided on the Maxie Silkwing variant, I immediately decided that she would have flamesilk. After a little research on Silkwing silk, I decided on the type of silk, Solar Silk, which is described as very bright and hot. So hot that it can melt steel and rocks. I also believe that Maxie is one of the fastest Silkwings (I will change the design and shape of her wings later). Oh, and I recently learned that Silkwings can predict the weather, so I think that should be added to her list of abilities.

I have nothing more to say about Maxie. ┐⁠(⁠´⁠ー⁠｀⁠)⁠┌

I originally wanted to make Genie a Hivewing, but then, for some reason I don't understand, I decided to make her a hybrid of a Hivewing and a Silkwing.

I spent a long time working on her design. In general, Genie looks more like a Hivewing than a Silkwing. The only thing that indicates her hybrid nature is her antennae (which I'm still not satisfied with). Although, I still don't think I should have added a stinger on her tail, but now it's here.

And so, the abilities. You may have noticed that at the end of the tail there is a kind of "sting", which, unlike her relatives Hivewing, is weaker in terms of poison. The consequences of the presence of the poison of the Genie in the body: paresthesia (not paralysis! as in most Hivewing!), slight dizziness, and possible hallucinations (with a particularly strong dose). Regarding the silk, I was hesitant for a long time, but in the end, having decided to leave it, I slightly changed the properties. Now, silk is not just a thread, but an adhesive substance that allows objects to stick together upon contact, but it is also highly flammable.

Updated: I recently found out that the Hivewings and the Silkwings can predict the weather... uh... Well, now the Genie can do the same.

That's it. I don't have any more thoughts about Genie.

BITCH, I already have Gary's design ready, and I CANNOT pass up the opportunity to design the rest of the guys from the second season. So, as I mentioned in the first crossover post, I've divided the dragon tribes into seasons: Season 1 - Pyrrhia, Season 2 - Pantala.

To be honest, I didn't think much about it. I immediately wanted to make Gary a Leafwing.

Gary's wings are elliptical. I spent a lot of time working on his palette, but I'm generally satisfied. Since Gary is very old, I did my best to show it (wrinkles, protruding ribs, and a slightly worn-out dorsal fin).

I think Gary would have been a pretty strong Leafspeaker, but because of an incident in the past (I'll tell you about it next time) he tries to only use this ability when absolutely necessary.

Sorry that the post was too short (I just don't have any good ideas). But I'll try to make Ginie soon.

Maybe we’re acting a bit selfish, but we’re not going to ignore this.

Recently we came across a post by this user, and the point is that only recently we realized these artworks don’t actually belong to them. Many of the pieces were taken from the Russian-speaking Amino (we know this because we used to be part of it), and a couple of posts belong to my friend, whose drawings were taken WITHOUT PERMISSION. Something also tells us that the creators of the other artworks didn’t give their consent for reposting either. And now this person has moved on to reposting works from other Tumblr users.

We already wrote to this user, but there was no response. That’s why we will be filing complaints against them. A respectful request: if it’s not too much trouble and if you’re willing, please do the same—because who knows whose art might end up on their page next time.
