why do you ship blue and yellow together?

It's because of the dynamic they have in the show. They're the opposites, yet they relate to the struggles they both have. They balance each other.

Blue shows her grieve through her tears, she truly shows her pain and wants others to feel it. Yet with Yellow, she doesn't, maybe because she knows Yellow already understands her?

Yellow, doesn't show her pain. She tries to get over the death of Pink by wanting to destroy the earth and shatter the bubbles rose quartzes. She puts on a though persona to hide what she feels and shows her anger when things that are about Pink's situation, go wrong or to slow, yet when she is with Blue, the persona slips. I feel like she knows it's allowed to fall when she's around her.

They both definitely have a weak spot for each other, but Yellow shows it waayyyy more. With her trying to comfort Blue almost everyday after Pink died, falling on her knees when she realized she was hurting Blue after trying to poof her in Change Your Mind. White even confirmed that weak spot with "She's so strong, yet so weak when it comes to Blue."

You can also see how they comfort each other with the way they're holding each others hand. You can mostly see it in the episodes That will be all, and Change your mind. In That will be all, when Yellow pulls Blue up, her hands are under, because Blue is the one mostly hurting in that ep. Yellow is trying to show Blue she is there for her. And in change your mind, Blue's hands are under Yellow's, to show her support to Yellow who had to confront White. They know who needs to other the most.

In the Trial ep, Blue and Yellow entered the room with them leaning into each other, closed eyes, as if they were trying to find another comforting moment before having to deal with a hard situation. Who does that with just a colleague?

Why do people not understand Lapis Lazuli isn't stronger than Blue Diamond? Like gen why do people think that she is? All because she threw a barn at her? Blue didn't get shattered or her gem wasn't cracked. I think that should say enough, especially since Lapis her gem got cracked bc Bismuth STEPPED on her💀

YES, Blue Diamond's depressing aura didn't work on Lapis, but that's Lapis went through more traumatic events than Blue. Doesn't make her stronger tho.

And Blue is known to be a SHATTERER, she literally kills gems when they disobey her or the authority. She can literally crush a gem in her hand, or use her abilities. Lapis can't.

Also, why would Blue make a gem stronger than her? She ain't stupid lmaoo.

People also need to know that the episode were Blue and Yellow crashed Garnet's wedding. (Forgot the name, mb) was rushed. I heard that was meant to be the last episode since Steven Universe originally got cancelled, but since Rebecca added Blue and Yellow Diamond as a small twist, the show had to go on since they're so important.

But if the show wasn't cancelled, i think they would actually put even more effort in the fight of the crystal gems vs Blue Diamond, and i think we would've seen Blue fight more and actually use her abilities, would be cool atleast.

I agree on the first part because the lords as the Diamonds fit so well?? With White being an evil ruler, same as Miranda. Yellow as heisenberg is just perfect. but i do have my doubts about Blue as Lady Dimitrescu, because she also fits Donna with the whole mood and style yk? But Blue is more Lady D in Era 1 i think and Donna in Era 2, so like a mix.

For Pink i kinda find it diffcult, maybe she could be Miranda’s death daughter and that Rose (as Ethan) tries to save her baby Steven (as Rosemary)?

Hey, I have a question on your human diamonds au, what would be the equivalent of the empire and pinks colony, dose it take place in the 19th century and they made thier fortune from exploiting colonized peoples?

tbh, i dont have a complete lore my Human Au as it varies a lot. I have many stories of them being human, it can be about them being rich folks in the 19th century, or them being CEO’s in the present. Depends on what mood i’m in. So there is no specific ‘canon’ lore. Maybe i’ll think of it one day. Ty for the ask! :)
