Brother Artie Naismith returns to Armageddon

Artie Naismith is a crotchety old vet who'd first served as a scout in the 2nd war for Armageddon, earned his place in the Vilifiers during the 3rd, and now takes part in what will most likely be his final tour in the Armageddon subsector.

I feel really privileged to have been able to find a few Rogue Trader era space marines a while back for a good price. These sculpts are really fun to work on (so long as you don't have to figure out how to repose these fuckass arms).

Artie here's actually gonna join up with his primaris brethren in kill team, should be fun to share a space like that. Here he is with Brother Callour

Some 1st edition (Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader) plastic Space Marine bits from the legendary “Beakies” RTB01 box paint stripped with Dettol. The previous owner unfortunately used some rock hard melting glue to attach a metal plasma cannon to one arm, nothing much but to do about it than to later repair it with green stuff. But otherwise successful paint stripping operation, almost as good as new and the parts that were attached by superglue came apart nicely.
