i miss when everyone was really fixated on theorizing about whether they were all in a time loop or secretly only one of them had actually died or if jane was from a completely different time period or if karnak had made them all up to cope and they never actually sang…the weird esoteric theories absolutely CARRIED

im literally never not thinking abt the line from the opening of rtc thats like “just a teeny tiny dot on a wee blue ball, and we’ve all been spinning, all been spinning round and round and round” like that shit goes HARD

like yeah. we are just a teeny tiny dot on a wer blue ball. but that shows how insignificant the kids feel at the start of the show and then they realize that just because they were small and died young doesnt mean that their lives meant nothing!!! they grow and develop!!! i love this line so much because it sets up so much pessimism that later gets blown out of the water by the realization that their lives did have meaning no matter how short they lasted

THE KIDS SURVIVE why because in that one slime tutorial at the end of Its Just A Ride they turn around and see that light that Jane stepped into and blah blah blah Karnak's prophecy came true woppeee
