It’s an incredible animated comedy-adventure story that my vocabulary simply can’t describe, but I’ll try, in short it’s about and Italian World War 1 ex-fighter ace, living as a freelance bounty hunter chasing sea-plane pirates, oh and at some point during the war he was cursed to look like an anthropomorphic pig. He changed his name to Porco Rosso, Italian for "Red Pig”. He did that because, obviously he looks like a pig, and he pilots a one of a kind bright red sea-plane. The main plot takes place years later, that was all just back story! Anyway the main plot…“ They stopped for a moment to think. "Honestly, we should just watch it. If I continue on I’d probably just be rambling for hours, and it could never compare to the movie. The best way to appreciate a master piece is to watch it for yourself, but I should at least tell you about the chase scene since I already mentioned it. During the main plot Porco’s plane gets shot down by an American pilot named Curtis. He goes to Milan to find his mechanic, in order to get his plane fixed but the secret police want him dead because they work for the new Fascist government, and the new government is hiring sea-plane pirates so Porco hunting them down isn’t exactly good for them. That leads to a chase scene where Porco has to speed through the streets of Milan in order to not get caught… Honestly the best parts of the movie are seeing the characters interact with one another, and with their world. OH! And the music is just divine! Perhaps when school, and home settle down we could watch it together.” With a heavy sigh they lean into the back rest, and they close their eyes. “… I hope I wasn’t rambling for too long, but I just adore this move.” ~Rosy

Howl’s Moving Castle is my personal favorite, but maaan the adventure in Porco Rosso really makes you feel hyped up as heck-Mod K))
