Sakura gave a yawn as her tired muscles pulsed and her eyes threatened to close in any minute. It had been a long day of training with Tsunade-sensei and she felt like she barely had the energy to stand. Still, she couldn't refuse an opportunity to hang out with Ino, especially when missions could leave them without seeing one another for days or even weeks at a time. Now though, she could feel her will to fight and stay awake slipping by the second, her friend's words turning into background noise and her lap turning into the most comfortable bed in existence.

"I'm going to sleep... for a little while..." she managed to mumble before drifting into sleep. She'd probably be embarrassed at the decision when she woke up, but right now all she cared about was getting some energy back while still being in the comforting presence of her best friend.
