So Shi has a daughter, Hotaru, now and I figure their dialogue is going something like this:

Hotaru: "I'm not a 90s kid like you, mom, I'm not going to wear a ridiculous crop top sofa cushion outfit to fight crime or ninjas or whatever it is we do."

Shi: "Fine, but you still have to do the awkward ballet pose."

Hotaru: "UGH FINE, but I'm not going to do... whatever the f- you're doing with your stomach. God, you're so embarrassing."

Shi: "Says the girl who keeps saying sixty nine."

Hotaru: "It's SIX SEVEN. Sixty nine is like what you did in your 90s crossovers with auntie Vampirella and auntie Avengelyne or whatever. I don't really want to think about it."

Shi: "Hey! That's just how team ups worked back then!"

Hotaru: "OK boomer. I didn't read your comics."

Shi: "That's okay. My comics weren't for reading anyway."

Hotaru: "... and this is why we don't hang out more, mom."

It's December so it's time for the annual Escher Girls' Holiday Caption Contest!

This year we're going to be doing this Witchblade cover which as people might remember has been featured here previously when I noticed that a marketing company's ad apparently used the same image with just the toys recoloured. >_>

Anyway, the image is still great because there's a number of ways you can interpret what Sara is doing.

So have at it! What's going on? What's she doing, saying, etc?

Your captions can be just a single sentence caption, it can be a poem, a song, a dialogue, even a short story if you want, or edit it into a holiday or Christmas card!

Points for creativity and funniness!

One thigh sucked all the organs from her stomach and also I think ate her calf too, and the other leg had to make do with the reduced body mass and just stretched itself into basically disappearing.

Or something. There's a lot going on with her legs and "feet". It's like an anti-foot fetish.
