Luke Edward Hall x Rubelli: Rose Garden

In October, whilst sipping on a Martini and admiring the view of the Santa Maria della Salute across the Grand Canal, I knew this would be the final time for a long time that I would visit the historic hotel Bauer Palazzo, a reassuring ‘home away from home’ for travellers from all over the world for decades. The hotel was slowly winding down and bidding a bittersweet farewell to its patrons before its closure in November for an extensive 3 year renovation. I shall certainly miss their famous terrace for pre-dinner cocktails this summer. From 24th to 29th April, @artcurial__ are set to present furniture from Bauer in a series of sales consisting of luxurious silks from Rubelli and Bevilacqua, Murano glassware, Italian furniture and artworks.
