Trapped in the Gypsy Camp

It was a really busy day, especially for the gypsies! All of the kids were coming by to finish their quest for all the queens ribbons, and they all wanted a custom rag crown from a genuine gypsy! Or at least, a gypsy wanna-be. There were multiple gypsies in the gypsy camp that day, and the two wanna-be's, Nuri and I. We both had lines of kids, at least 4 kids each who were waiting for us to braid the rags they had hand picked. Nuri and I got into our usual argument over who was the better gypsy.

"I braid rag crowns faster than you!"

"I braid them better than you!"

"I have more bells than you!"

"I'm more colorfully dressed than you!"

"Loco, we're not even gypsies!"

"Oh? Who's to tell us we're not?"

Nuri and I looked around. No one else was at the gypsy camp, only kids and their parents. Sarai and Sasha had gone to act on the chess board, Rubido had gone to his dance show, and Penelope had gone to work at the queen's tea. We were the only two gypsies in the gypsy camp, and we weren't even gypsies!

Later on, after everything had finally died down, Rubido got to return from dancing. When Nuri and I explained it to him, it was a load of laughs. I fell back onto the pillows that were lying around, another busy day was almost at an end, and Nuri and I had made many a kid happy.
