After having run into Ruby at the market a few weeks ago, Riley couldn't get her out of his head. The memories of her flashing in his mind, day and night, waves of emotions webbing and flowing from it. At one point in time he truly thought they'd end up to gather, whether or not they had been able to get custody of their daughter once he had turned eighteen. But the years and distance had grown and that desire became a dream and the a distant memory. But now, being in the same town together, he wondered if maybe something could happened between the two of them. So after setting up a time for them to have dinner, he made a point that he'd cook for her. "Come on in," he grinned as he opened the door, his black lab Casper standing at his feet with his tail wagging in anticipation of a new friend. "Can I get you anything to drink? I've got wine, beer, liquor, water, you name it." He asked as he took her coat and hung it in the coat closet by the front door and then gestured for her to make her way into the apartment some more.
