Ladies and Gentlemen, I regret to inform you that as of 3:45 PM Pacific Time, my Dachshund (Weiner dog) Ruby Lee has passed away. She took a bad fall off the bed this morning, and combined with her advanced age of 15.5 years, as well as the fact that she was basically blind and deaf at this point we as a family thought it right. It is part and parcel the duty of a pet owner to do the right thing and put the pet down when it's time, to prevent further suffering. That's the contract we accepted when we got her, and today was the day we had to fulfill it. To the best of my knowledge, she passed with no pain. Her final weight was 11.6 pounds. Rest In Power Ruby Lee
