"Oh, my God..." You groaned, laying down in a booth of Granny's Diner. "Kill me now and put me out of my sugar-fueled misery." Ruby laid on the opposite side of you, peering at you under the table and looking a bit green.
"I didn't know I had a limit on how much I could eat until now." Ruby whined, holding her stomach with a pained expression on her face. "I love Halloween, I really do. But this, this was too much."
"I told you two to slow down or else you’d get a tummy ache, but no one wants to listen to Granny." Granny lectured as she closed up the Diner, but you two didn't even have the strength to fight back. "I have something for stomach aches I can give you, hold tight." She wandered away from sight and you, learning nothing, grabbed another piece of candy.
"No way. I'd puke if I had another piece." Ruby protested as you ripped another wrapper open.
"It's only Halloween once a year." You popped the piece of chocolate in your mouth, consequences be damned.
