Panic was rising in her chest. Hadn’t last night been a night of the moon? And hadn’t Ruby locked herself up because of it? And now? What had happened? Where was she now?

Her throat felt hoarse, and Ruby licked her lips, trying to speak. “Hello?” The word sounded croaked. “Is there anyone here? Please….. I do… need help….”

It did not feel like her apartment, also because there was an unfamiliar smell in the air. A hospital, maybe?

.｡.:*☆ Being a werewolf really sucked on some days. Not only her constant fear of fullmoon, no, now Ruby also had troubles sleeping. It was like karma was a bitch, or, had just decided to torture her more, for whatever reason.

It was sort of nice at the beach, thought. She could see the moon, and also a lot of stars, and it managed to calm Ruby down - that was, thought, until she heard noises coming from somewhere behind her. Like a small branch breaking under the weight of a foot.

“Hello?” She called out, wanting to make the other person aware that they were not alone at the beach. “Anyone there?”

But it felt like this man really had enough fun for the rest of the year already, to be all honest with you.”

.｡.:*☆ Ruby remembered the man. Of course she did. To her, he never seemed to be someone for smalltalk. But, it had been okay. During her job as a waitress, Ruby had learned to somewhat get along with all kinds of people. Even if it was only to get a good tip.

Anyway, Ruby was glad not to be on her own anymore. Someone knowing what she was.... it would make things easier, maybe. At least, Graham could lock her up during fullmoon. It was not nice, but a better solution than waking up panicking again and again after a night like this.

“Hello stranger,” Ruby winked slightly. “Long time no see. I guess you have no idea why we ended up here? Like, it is not another version of the curse again, is it?”
