Index & Ring: Essie - Ruby Slippers Middle & Pinky: China Glaze - Ruby Pumps
My boyfriend's Mom got me a gel nail curing lamp for Christmas, and I went out and got polish finally! :D Gelaze polish was super easy to apply, and gel nails are really simple to do thus far. I'm absolutely obsessed with how shiny they are too OwO
China Glaze: Ruby Pumps
For the first installment of my Valentine's Day series I have China Glaze's Ruby Pumps to share with you. Ruby Pumps originally debuted in the 2001 Wizard of Ooh Ahz collection and was re-released in 2009 to coincide with the 70th anniversary of the Wizard of Oz movie.
Ruby Pumps has proved to be so popular it has become part of the China Glaze core collection. To put it simply, this red is a stunner!
Ruby Pumps is a red jelly polish with fine red glitter. This is one of those neat polishes that looks both squishy, thanks to the jelly base, and complex, thanks to the glitter. The first coat went on semi-sheer, but by the second coat the color was beautifully opaque.
Ruby Pumps is easily one of my favorite nail polishes to wear. It's not a basic red cream and its glowing effect in the sunlight adds to the fun.

NOTD: China Glaze Ruby Pumps
Ruby Pumps is one of those polishes that is talked about as if having it in your collection were mandatory. It's a red polish with fine red micro glitter.
2 coats. Beautiful. I love the shade of red and that the glitter is dense so that it catches the light and shimmers. - Eve
