Ruby Rose ❤️
You and Ruby were just hanging out around the streets of Vale when you two bumped into an interesting person.
It was a girl the same age as you and Ruby but something about her made both of you want to learn more about her.
She had short messy black hair, and had a long dark hoodie that draped over her similar to a cloak. To you, she resembled your girlfriend Ruby a little too much. Only difference was her eyes weren’t silver and her fashion choice was more alternative and wild compared to Ruby.
You stayed quiet, but Ruby smiled wide and loudly introduced herself and pulled you along.
“Whoa! Hey there stranger, that weapon is so cool! Did you make yourself?” Ruby eyed the girl’s metallic scythe, the blades were double ended too!
The mysterious girl flushed a bit seeing both of you and quickly answered, avoiding your gaze. “Yeah, I think scythes are really good weapons,” she paused, faintly smiling at Ruby. “My mom always liked them so I had one too.” She laughed softly to cut the awkward tension.
“Well I think your mom has great taste then!”
Your conversations with the mysterious girl was pleasant but familiar, never dull a moment after that, it was like talking to a family relative.
And then the sudden reveal happened:
“My names Poppy Rose! And I think we might be related…”
Ruby’s eyes were stunned and turned pale in shock. Your poor girlfriend’s words turn to mush like she just finished eating spoonfuls of peanut butter.
You tried to keep it together but the insinuation that you became a dad in the future mind warps you.
At first you’re happy to see your daughter, she takes after Ruby so much! But you and Ruby were worried.
“Youweren’tsenttothefuturebecauseeverythingin yourtimewenthorriblywrongright?” You two said in unison. Looking at the poor Poppy Rose with concern.
“N-no!” Poppy panted, stumbling out a response. Ruby’s body relaxed, sighing in relief.
Besides that awkward moment, Poppy was fun to hang around with. She was as hyperfixated on weapons and tinkering them just as much as your girlfriend. Ruby feels like she met her long lost sister! Both of them just chatted about weapons and huntress related missions until the sun was coming down.
But the sunset was looming, which made Poppy immediately gasp dramatically, looking at her scroll for the time.
“Ahhh-I gotta get going!” Both you and Ruby looked at her in confusion but Ruby seemed a bit more understandable. “Time travel calls?” Little red chimed in.
Poppy nodded vigorously. “Yeah, I’m on a time limit, if I stay any longer I’m toast.” She explained, sheepishly smiling at you two.
“Don’t sweat it! We’ll see each other soon.” Ruby smiled and waved as Poppy walked back into the forest.
“Not too soon though!” You chimed after.
Poppy giggled, waving back “I’ll tell my brothers you said hi!”
“B-brothers..?” You and Ruby stuttered.
“Yep! And a little sister on the way!” Poppy yelled out.
Ruby only blushed a million shades red. Your poor girlfriend could barely look you in the eye. With Poppy finally gone, disappearing into the forest, you finally had something to tease Ruby with for the next few weeks. “I guess we got busy—“
“Shhhhhhhh!! Don’t say anything!” Ruby hushed you, embarrassed, poor little red turned to rose petals, and dashed away back to her dorm room. You could only smirk and follow her behind.
Weiss Schnee 🤍
Both you and Weiss went on a mission together to fight some Grimm that were terrorizing a village back in the snowy forest.
Although you two cut through all of them, there was still one left that was a pain to take down. A large Sphynx.
Taking your what felt like your last breath as you tried covering for Weiss, bracing for the Sphynx’s attack.
But nothing happened. The last thing you heard was a Grimm getting impaled and the snowy winds breezing through the shell of your ears .
Weiss gasped, her eyes look like she saw a ghost appears from thin air. A large royal blue cape was the first thing she saw.
A tall figure cut and impaled the Sphynx like it was butter, pointing its blade on its weakest points, skull and neck. And the Grimm let out its last scream and disappeared into ashes…
The mysterious figure stood tall as they shook off any remains of Grimm on their blade, and then turned to Weiss and you.
Your eyes widened as you saw the person who saved you both. A tall girl, rivaling Jaune Arc in height if you had to compare it. She had deep blue eyes, white hair tied in long two tail braids, a light blue ruffled dress cut to her knees, white stockings with blue details, shoe heels almost similar to Weiss’ and a large royal blue cape that look like what kings would wear back in the olden days.
Weiss mouth felt stuck, she was in awe and gracious to be saved but she felt something off seeing this girl.
“Thanks for save…” you muttered. The girl hummed, putting her sword back in its sheath.
“Stocking up on dust is necessary if you plan on venturing out further into the snow..” she suggested, a smug but regal tone. Weiss huffed in annoyance at that insinuation.
“I was, thank you very much.” The former heiress replied dryly. “No need to point out hindsights.” You mentally groaned. You love your girlfriend but sometimes she takes offense very personally. Although this girl that saved you two was kind of a show boat.
“We could’ve bought out the whole supply, but these Grimm cornered us, it was gonna happen regardless.” You explained logically. “I’m just glad we’re all safe.” You soften a bit, turning your attention to your white haired girlfriend, rubbing her shoulders to help ease the tension.
“I don’t think we’ve traded names formally.” The mysterious girl turned to you, lowering her tense attitude.
“Oh right! This is my girlfriend, Weiss,” you immediately replied holding Weiss shoulder to shoulder. “Pleased to meet you.” She said. “And I’m (y/n)! What about you?”
The mysterious girl took a moment, a thick air of silence filled space between all three of you. She seemed hesitant to say anything until…
“Fion.” Her cold breath muttered.
“Hey watch out Weiss, she’s got a cold name like you.” You joked with the heiress lightly but Weiss no sold it and only stared at her, eyeing her up and down, studying her like she was not impressed.
“You got good taste in hair color I’ll give you that.” Weiss walked and observed the fellow white haired girl.
“It’s all natural.” Fion hummed, smirking down Weiss. But the ice queen only balked. “There’s no way your whole family inherited it.” Weiss cross her arms, she seemed annoyed but you’ve seen that glint in your girlfriend’s eyes before. She was mildly intrigued. The tone in conversation shifted to slight banter.
“Actually, we’re more alike than you think.” Fion stated. “My full name is Fion Schnee, and I think you’re my mother.”
Weiss was in full denial immediately hearing this reveal. “If this is your way of a joke, it’s not funny.” You tensed up a bit, in the middle of it all. You yourself are a bit skeptical about this Fion girl, although she does mirror Weiss a bit too well.
“You don’t have to believe me, I just wanted to see what my parents are like.” Directing her words to both of you. “P-parents???”
The ice queen’s face was that of a beet red tomato, the idea that you two actually have a future together with kids. Weiss could deny it but your smirk towards her made her flustered and embarrassed.
“You mean we might…” Fion simply laughed at you two, Weiss especially.
“Well, if you’re truly our kid, it’s nice to know we have a daughter.” You smiled, holding onto Weiss’ hand, comforting her as she was trying to make sense of everything today.
“Actually, I have a twin brother. Just a bit of a heads up if you two want to be ready for taking care of twins.”
Ok now was your turn to blush and possibly hyperventilate till your vision went blurry.
After the two of you separated from Fion at a nearby tavern, you never saw her again. It’s like she was a ghost. The white haired girl just disappeared from the crowd.
Weiss sometimes questions if you two even saw anyone in that snowy forest that day at all. Maybe it was a hallucination from being out in the cold for too long…
Blake Belladonna 🖤
You were meditating with Blake in the deep Forever Fall forest. Various bright red leaves falling, the long branches giving good shade for nearby critters, and weather was warm with a cool breeze that flew by once in awhile.
You sat next to Blake, knees close to one another. You two barely spoke but you both liked it this way. It was peaceful, away from loud bustling cities and crowds, airship engines and motors. It was nice.
Blake’s ears perked up, hearing a faint Nevermore shrilling and gun shells blasting from afar. Your head sharply turned to the shadowy forest and then turning to Blake.
“You heard that too right?”
Both of you walked to the scene, seeing a Nevermore get shot down brutally by an unknown huntsman.
They dawn a white cat mask to cover their face, black cargo pants that tightened around their ankles, laced black boots, and a long leather jacket that flowed freely in the wind.
Once the Nevermore disappeared, the masked person turned their attention to both you and Blake.
You immediately ran in front of your girlfriend, prepared to block any attack this person was going to try to hit. Sure, you’d get hurt, but at least Blake would be safe.
But they lowered their weapon, putting back their pistol back in the holster by their hip.
“Apologies for the noise.” Was all they said to you. You and Blake looked at each other, confused but glad that this masked huntsmen wasn’t a threat.
Blake sighed in relief, and approached them first. “No worries, you seem to handle yourself pretty well there.” She complimented, wanting to no show no hostility towards them. “…thanks. Sorry I don’t do well with compliments.” They replied, clearing their throat.
“It’s alright’ we’re all introverts here, no judgments.” You chuckled to lighten up the mood. Blake faintly smiled in agreement, humming.
“I’m (Y/n), and this is my girlfriend Blake.” You started. “Hey. what’s a huntsmen doing all the way at forever fall forest?” Blake greeted, inquired with innocent curiosity.
“I’m Mika, and I—are you a Faunus?” The masked person asked, taken aback seeing Blake’s ears.
Blake was immediately on alert, worried about the worst, but you’d do anything to protect her and her safety. “Yeah, are you?” Blake asked, wondering that might explained the odd but cute cat mask hiding this huntsmen’s identity.
Mika seemed more tense, gently taken off their mask to reveal their face. “Yes, I am, and I think we’re much more alike than you think, Miss Blake.” You took immediate notice of Mika’s golden yellow eyes, slightly tan skin face, and dark hair tied up in a short rough ponytail.
Blake took in their features. They really were similar in terms of looks. The Faunus girl studied their face and noticed a scar on their lip, wondering if it was from battling or something else.
“This may be hard to believe but I’m from the future and I believe you’re my mother.” Mika announced, their voice soft and breathless.
“I mean, I want to believe but—oh my gosh is that a tail???” You coughed out, Blake saw and yelled in shock. “Whoa! You’re a cat Faunus…”
Mika laughed nervously, whipping their tail left to right. “Sadly, I never inherited your ears…” They rubbed the back of their neck.
Mika then unwrapped a slim silk cloth around their wrist, in hand and showed to Blake.
“But you did gift me a ribbon when I enrolled during my first year in the academy, I don’t wear it much, but I do keep it safe with me everywhere I go.” Mika smiled faintly, their golden eyes softening at Blake’s.
Blake smiled too, her eyes meeting yours and then looking back at your child.
“It’s alright if you don’t believe me, we don’t have much time left but I wanted to meet you face to face.”
Blake lightly chuckled. “I believe you. You take alot from my mother.”
“Also there’s no faking that tail wag.” You pointed out as Mika’s tail tip grabbed the ribbon they held.
Mika blushed a bit but laughed out any embarrassment. “I can actually wrap it around my waist!”
“I saw uncle Sun do it before with his tail.” Both you and Blake went wide eyed and froze.
“Y-you know Sun???” You both said in unison, baffled.
Mika was about to say something but was interrupted by a ring tone from their scroll. Mika swiped and turned off the ringer.
“Duty calls, it appears my time here is very short, I wish I could stay longer..” Mika said solemnly. Blake walked closer to Mika, their hands meeting as she held theirs.
“Don’t worry about it, we’ll see each other again.” Blake smiled, and then turning to you.
“I’m glad we got to meet this way, Mika.” Suddenly, Blake hugged what she knew was her future child. No doubts, no second thought, she knew that Mika was both of yours.
Mika smiled wide, and hugged as tightly as they could to Blake and then ushered you to join in on the hug. You immediately ran to them, hugging them both as you closed your eyes.
Minutes later, Mika disappeared into the forest, you wondered if maybe that was their semblance at work or were they just really fast to the naked eye. You weren’t sure.
Blake hugged your arm, looking at you with love as you both walked back home. Years later you and Blake still talk about Mika as this mysterious huntsmen that was only seen in Forever Fall forest.
Yang Xio Long 💛
You and Yang visited Patch and were making your way back home. But your ride on Yang’s motorcycle, Bumblebee, was cut short when Yang remembered she needed to fill up on fuel.
You waited around the bike as Yang went inside the Just Rite station. You heard jets fly above you, wondering if they were on their way to Vale or Atlas.
Yang returned with snacks and drinks for the road ahead. “I think you need that water to hydrate more than me.” The blonde teased, pointing out your forehead was beaded with sweat, your eyebrows almost moist with sweat after wiping it off under the sun.
“Thanks.” You drank the clear water, sighing in delight as you immediately felt refreshed. “I forget that not many people grew up with the hot sun here in Patch.” Yang smiled nervously. “Sorry, babe.” She apologized, as she put away the snacks in her seat compartment.
Another ring out the gas station chimed into your ears as you saw someone walk out of the door.
They peaked your interest, there was something about them that seemed odd..
It was a tall beefy dude that had short ruffled blonde hair, messy style with no care. His outfit was made for this hot summer. Styled yellow shorts with various pockets and chains, a graphic orange tank top tucked in, and a black bomber jacket, sleeves pushed up to his forearms to show off his thick muscles, top off with ankle laced hike boots that were black and yellow.
The blonde was smiling ear to ear as he held various chip bags and snacks in his arms.
You and the mysterious beef cake locked eyes with each other, Yang shoot her eyes too and looked a bit confused at the other blonde.
The man gasped loudly, almost dropping their snacks as he stared at you like he saw a ghost.
“Oh em GEEE!!! I’ve been looking for you guys all over that place!” The blonde shouted, excitement filled his voice, jumping up a bit as he ran up to you two, you and Yang couldn’t be more confused at this moment.
“Uhh, heeey, have we met?” Yang chuckled, a bit nervous but liked the energy this other blonde was giving.
The male blonde seemed embarrassed but was immediately smiling ear to ear. “Oh yeah! Well, erm, this might be hard to drop on ya guys but I’m actually not from this time…or place…and I think you two might be, like, my parents.” He explained.
You and Yang were stunned. This guy does seem a bit off and the hair color is very scarily similar to Yang’s.
“Oh yeah, I’m Hiro by the way! Please to meet ya!” The male blonde introduced himself, realizing he never said his name to you two.
Yang chuckled, she’s more so curious about this guy and is willing to play along. “I’m Yang, and this cutie next to me is (Y/n)!” She grinned, patting you on the back as Hiro looked at you with wide eyes. He had a cute himbo charm to him.
“Nice hair color choice by the way, blondes always have more fun.” Yang took notice, giving a thumbs up to Hiro.
Hiro looked at her confused “huh? I’ve always had this hair color, ever since I was born.” Hiro revealed, the tips of his fingers playing with the strands of his messy bangs.
“I tried basing my look off of my grandpa Tai when he was young!” Hiro smiled, Yang’s eyes widened, not expecting this guy to mention her dad’s name out of the blue! “D-did, did you say Tai?” She asked, lowly.
Hiro nodded vigorously. “Yep! The great Tai-yang! He’s so cool, strong fighting style, I really look up to him..” the male blonde went on.
“Hm, this is weird. I guess you really might be from the future if my dad is seen as a legend. I guess the old man really did something cool for once.” Yang joked, laughing a bit.
“Then that must you really are my…” her realization made her soften her eyes as she looked at Hiro. Before all she saw was a stranger but now it was like looking in a mirror.
Hiro grinned ear to ear, happy to just be accepted. “I’m just glad I got to meet you two! You look so young!”
“I guess our kid got the best of both worlds huh?” Yang elbowed your side playfully, as you sweat and nearly blush at the idea of conceiving…
“I wish I could stay long, but I was told I couldn’t stay here longer than whatever this timer thing tells me.” Hiro frowned, poking at his high tech watch.
“Maybe I can try tomorrow or something! I wanna keep seeing ya two.” Hiro pumped his fists, Yang couldn’t help but smile. “If that’s the case, try to teleport to Beacon next time and we’ll have a fun day out together, just the three of us.” Yang suggested. “Yeah, we can show you a good time.” You agreed.
Hiro’s eyes looked like they were shining like stars.
“Oh em gee that’d be awesome! My mom—erm *you* always talked about all the cool parties you snuck into when you were younger.” It was now Yang’s turn to be embarrassed a bit.
“I can’t wait!” Hiro then gave you and Yang a hug, a really strong one too. “I’m not one for goodbyes, so I’ll see you guys soon!”
You and Yang waved to Hiro as he walked away from the Just Rite station, disappearing into the sunset.
Both of you weren’t entirely sure if he really was your future kid, Yang was as care free and didn’t mind it much.
“I guess he if really is ours, we’ll just have to wait and see what the future holds.” Was all she concluded.
“Uh, Yang…”
“Yeah, (Y/n)?”
“I think Hiro left his snacks behind.”
“Uh-oh..”
