Hank strode down from the mansion, letting out a heavy sigh. It was late, dark out, and finally he could allow himself to finally let out what he'd been burying inside him since the moment his blue self showed up. As easy as it was for him to help his older self, being able to deal with it was about ten times as difficult. And to say that helping his older version was easy, would be a plain lie. The very second the man entered the shadows of the trees he bent down, pulling off his shoes and socks and took off running on all fours. Tonight was a night for him, a night alone, a night to work out the stress building up inside him.
As he bounded through the grounds, the cool breeze riffling through his hair, he finally felt the stress that had been baring down on his shoulders begin to melt away. Sure, the friendly competition from Warren had proved to be a more than welcomed distraction, or even finding the Danger Room with him and Bobby, or simply his talks with Jean. But that's all they truly were at the end of the day, distractions. Things that attempted to keep their minds fooled while they traversed an unknown future, a future where only God could truly know what happened. It was a scary thought, knowing that they all had so far to fall, a thought he couldn't wait to have wiped from his mind. With a clearing approaching up ahead the man launched himself into the trees, swinging himself between the gaps until he landed on a sturdy enough branch. Gripping it with both feet he allowed himself to fall forward, hanging from it facing the open space. Letting out another sigh the brunette just wanted to enjoy the fresh air, but that wasn't going to happen. Sitting a few yards to his right was an obviously equally as stressed out Scott.
It only takes a few swings, but he immediately finds himself hanging almost directly beside him, their heads only a few feet apart. Hank let's the silence sit for a moment before breaking it. "I know you heard me coming a few hundred yards off,"no, that wasn't the right way to start this.He clears his throat, hoping he can start over. "I'm sorry to intrude, my usual spot to go to reflect has a large building in it now, so I needed to find a new place. If you want I can leave, though you do look like you could enjoy some company Scott, I think we both could benefit from sharing a few words."
