I still believe that Katie is the superior Ruby
and Nicki (may she rest in peace) is the superior Meg.
And I’m still annoyed at that line in Goodbye Stranger:

Im glad I've found another person who is a original ruby fan aka katie cassidy as I really enjoyed her performances she was ruby to me, and I was disappointed when she was recast and gen took her place just my own opinion but gens portrayal was not ruby to me. Do you have any idea whether it was the studios decision to recast her or if katie chose not to return ?

No, I’m sorry. How can you not include the original demon vessels? Lilith was a little girl more than a woman. Meg is the woman’s name, not the demon, and yet everybody seems to forget that. Katie’s Ruby is the true one.

IF they truly needed to have Ruby back in the show, I would have preferred Katie Cassidy. She is the superior Ruby.

Katie as Ruby would have been better. And I am sure CW would have pushed for it. Helped gain exposure for her Arrow spin off. Plus they could have given her the $8k Danneel/worthless Jo character money.
Good point and I’m sure she would have jumped at the chance to appear on SPN one last time. The CW could have advertised it like crazy.
That's what it turned into. People were saying I was jealous of Genevieve, I was looking for a reason to hate her, how could I not appreciate the "hotness" of her & Sam. Well I'm sorry that I saw two fictional characters & not two actors on my screen. I thought the fandom was over that feud but I was wayyyy wrong! I've got nothing against Genevieve. She seems nice & I hope life treats her well but that doesn't mean I approve of Sam being high on demon blood & then being taken advantage of.

Yes, my dear anon, there was NO hotness between her and Sam. She was skanky and to be honest, I think Katie is prettier than Genevieve.

I made a huge horrible mistake today. I was doing a "make me choose" gif meme because I was bored and it was pretty fun until someone said Ruby 1 or Ruby 2.0 and I made it about Ruby 1. Now I'm getting a shit ton of hate and actually deleted it because of the drama! Why are certain parts of this fandom so psychotic??
