While Atlas was off along the shore, Mateo sat by the water's edge quietly. He spotted Ruby nearby, passing a glance a few times before waving with a smile the moment they both exchanged a glance. From where he was, it made no sense to yell a greeting-he wasn't the yelling kind anyway. Instead he mouthed a "hey there" with a sheepish smile as he toyed with his necklace in the other hand.

ACKKKK!!! H-h-h-humans...?

She thinks that she gets intimidated by them. Regardless, she is trying to stay cool and smile, however, shaking... She slowly waves back.

H-h-h-hello.... H-h-how's it going? I-I-I hope y-y-you all having a g-g-g-great time... N-n-name's Ruby... What about y-

EEK... I-I c-c-can't stay c-c-cool anymore... Think, Ruby, think...

She deep breathes. She still shakes, however, not as nervous as the first time...

Vinny@Carolina: Vinny approaches towards the Dachsbun with a jolly tune. The scent that surrounds Carolina reaches to the young lad's nose. "Hey there, How are you enjoying the beach so far? Nothing beats having fun in the sun in a day like this. Also, not to be rude but you smell good. Is it the sunscreen or are you...burning up? Are you getting a sunburn?" The boy begins to get worried. Believing that Carolina is getting cooked due to her scent. "Do you need sunscreen or maybe aloe? I can go get some."

After Vinny's question wherever Carolina getting a sunburn, she starts to sweat and become so warm that she start to feel like freshly-baked pastry. She is trying to cool herself with her left paw.

D-don't worry, I-I'm fine-

C-Carol, y-you're burning...

D-don't worry about it t-too, Rubs...

Puh-please... I-I don't w-want f-for you t-to be b-bitten...

*sigh* Fine... Yea, I forgot my scent blocker (aka perfume). Do ya have something to block my scent?

Ah, no, I don't think sunscreen would work...

But I would accept aloe if needed...

She grabs lemonade, opens and drinks it.
