I'm Coming Home (Asher and Ruby)
The tall trees seemed to stretch on forever, almost providing a tunnel for the narrow road. The air always smelled the same, this time of year: Sweet like the honeysuckle that grew in the back yard.
Asher sighed as he steered his car towards the house he spent every summer in, his parents leading the way in their new hybrid. He had laughed when they first brought it, claiming that it was better for the environment. He smiled as the engine of his Camaro growled as he pressed the gas just a little harder.
He was more than thankful as they pulled into the driveway, His eyes catching sight of a familiar mes of dark hair. He stepped out of the var, ignoring his parents as he approached the large tree that sat between two houses, a tire swing hanging from the highest branch.
He smirked as he snuck up behind the girl that seemed to be a thousand miles from earth. He leaned in, his lips at her ear and hands at her shoulders. "Hey stranger." He greeted with a wide smile.
