@rubyredtragedy sent My breath just made you quiver. Can you imagine what my tongue will do? (to matt >.>)
Astarion doesn't need to breathe, that breath along his neck is purposeful. He wants to deny that the feeling of cool breath ghosting over his skin makes him shiver but there's no getting away with that, not with Astarion. The man seems to be just as observant as Matt is himself.
It is times like these where Matt wishes he could see Astarion. See the look on his face, the desire that is not doubt swimming in his eyes. He wishes he could see everything that Astarion is doing.
He can calculate his next move just fine with his own enhanced senses but he'd be lying if he said that is enough. So, he does what he can, lifting one hand to trace his fingers along Astarion's face.
He maps out his face with featherlike touches, committing the curve of his jaw to his memory, the way his cheeks feel underneath his fingertips. He's cool to the touch but Matt finds he doesn't mind.
Mapping out Astarion's face helps him picture the man in his mind and if Astarion seems even a little bit uncomfortable with it, he'll stop.
"I'm sure you're quite skilled with your tongue." He can hear his own heart rate thrumming heavily in his ears, making a fool out of him for denying the attraction that runs rampant between them. He meant it when he said he tries not to date coworkers, especially other lawyers, but it's hard to deny Astarion when he makes him feel like this.
