I mean Yang Xiao Long is a chinese name and y'know most Chinese people don't have bright blonde hair, and Lie Ren seems to indicate that there is a Chinese culture similar to our world

so this makes me wonder if Yang used to be less of an outgoing person with dark hair and then she just... really started to care for Ruby, and Ruby was always sad due to (probably) her mother's death, so Yang got some hair dye and fire dust and dyed her hair and stepped into Ruby's tears with a glowing smile and golden hair
