(Angst) 12. "Holding everything in doesn't help, you know."
Every time Y/n thought this week couldn't get worse, it did. When she thought the only bad thing would be the 50% she got on her last test she also had to deal with buy a new phone because hers was stolen, along with her wallet. At this point it was only Tuesday and she couldn't believe the week could get worse, but it did.
She got fired from her job on Wednesday. On Thursday, she spilled coffee all over her homework, effectively ruining it and the dog she was watching for her neighbor ran away (was later found but she didn't know that at the time). On Friday, with the dog still missing and posters up all around her apartments, she managed to fracture her wrist during PE and that's when Farkle notice.
"Hey," Farkle greeted softly as Y/n sat in the nurses office waiting to get picked up by her family.
"Hi." Y/n said sadly as keept her eyes directed at the ground.
Farkle sat next to her on the side of the bed, "Are you okay, besides the injured wrist."
He put is arm over her shoulder softly and waited for her response. He knew something was up, she had been distant with him and all of their friends and he wanted to know why.
"This week sucks!" Y/n said abruptly as her vision blurred, "I hate it!"
"What happened? Talk to me." Farkle softly urged.
"Okay, well I failed my test, my phone and wallet got stolen, I got fired, lost my neigbor's dog, ruined all my homework with coffee and now I hurt my stupid wrist!" As Y/n let it out she began crying and Farkle wrapped her up in a hug and rubbed her back softly, making sure to be careful of her wrist.
"Holding everything in doesn't help, you know."
Y/n sniffled and rubbed her eyes with her good hand, "I know, I just didn't want to bug anyone. It was stupid."
"It's not stupid, I love you and I want to help you when you're upset. Even if it's just to hug you while you cry."
"I love you, too." Y/n smiled, hugging Farkle once more.
"Y/n," The nurse called, "You're ride is here."
