Took some time to upload this story I photographed in January for @deutschebahn magazine about survival expert Rüdiger Nehberg. He’s known for his trip though the rainforest without any equipment, walking though the desert, trying to choke himself by a five meter python to test if he can survive or crossing the Atlantic Ocean with a pedal boat. We visited the then 84 year old in his house, listening to his adventure stories and walking though his garden. Only few days after the release of the magazine, Nehberg passed away. It’s sad the interview with this great adventurer won’t be read so much on board the trains, due to the current situation.
