Liked the new chapter. Charlotte is awesome, despite being the bad guy here. Got a little back story on Sol. Was the elfs younger brother the one who looks like Luck or Rill Or was it neither?
It’s really awesome seeing what Charlotte can do! I am glad we are seeing some new spells from her and I really like the sword she can make too :D
We saw back at the tournament when Sol spoke with Kirsch that Charlotte saved Sol when she was a kid, giving her hope to live - so that’s where her strong admiration for Charlotte comes from.
As for elf Charlotte’s younger brother, it’s highly likely to be Rufel - Luck’s elf.
Black Clover Chapter 163 was actually very good. There was the Shōnen cliche of “Friendship Power”, but It was so beautifully written (and drawn) by Tabata that you could feel tension and emotions portrayed by each character. Really Good Chapter. The current Arc is getting better and better \o

fun fact- rufel actually survived the elf massacre 2! he was away from elysia at the time and managed to avoid it. then when everyone pulled up to the scene he crashed out, said he’d never talk to humans again, and tried killing them before dryad intervened. after that, he and dryad and gaea vanished for a few years until he and magna got in contact to rekindle their marriage. he’s majorly depressed and angry <3 he runs a shrine in new elysia where he honors the dead.
he and magna and luck see each other again after ten years in person <3 it’s very weepy and sweet
