there is a dagger against his throat. sharp, glinting white in the right light. it'd been something she gifts herself moons ago, with runes of her family's words carved down the centre of it. neat, precise; so much so, she'd asked hiccup to look it over. if nothing else, than to simply ensure she hadn't made her new beauty a brittle. she has no use of brittle things ... unless it is meant to explode.

ruffnut grins though - her dagger will not break, this she knows. and violence has her blood sing like nothing else.

she needs no dragon to draw blood, she needs no beast to bring forth chaos.
