           “  i  called  his  bluff. ”  only,  it  wasn’t  a  bluff.  though  dan  doesn’t  necessarily  CARE  either  way,  his  inclination  towards  priming  his  own  fists  had  only  been  thwarted  by  the  other’s  speed.  a  COLLISION  square  on  his  jaw  and  he’d  gone  down.  even  if  the  guy  had  been  almost  twice  his  size,  if  he  hadn’t  been  almost  sucker  punched  he  thinks  he  could’ve  kicked  his  ass.  EASILY.  “ i  managed  to  get  one  or  two  good  hits  in  before  his  fucking  . . .  friends  got  him  back. ”
