Set during 6th year, Hermione gets help from two people she least expected and realizes she's in love with the wrong guy.
He had first seen her at a bus stop in Sector 4, wandering about with no apparent goal in her wanderings. Unique attire aside, he could easily tell that she was a Heroic Spirit. Like him, she had been reduced to a fraction of her former strength by the unknown methods employed by those scientists that oversaw the experiment-city.
He had followed her from the rooftops, and was quite sure that he had avoided her attention, even without the protective shield of Faceless King. All the while, he wondered how he would kill her. In other circumstances, Archer would have seen this as the perfect opportunity.
There were more than enough vantage points to put an arrow between her shoulder blades, and too many escape routes for him to count.
Unfortunately, his Yew Bow had been replaced by a shitty fake and all his arrows were little more than sharpened sticks, which would have trouble hurting even a normal human being. A bowman was useless without a proper bow, after all.
Then there was the fact that there was no War to fight, no Master to be ordered by and to protect and certainly no Grail to seek. But that didn’t stop Archer from hypothesizing; he made a point to have a plan to kill almost anyone he met. That went doubly true for enemy Servants.
It just so happened that she was the most interesting thing he’d seen all day, so Archer decided to say hello. It would be a refreshing change of pace from getting odd looks from the city’s native inhabitants. With that cheery thought, he descended from the rooftops and onto a lamp post just behind her.
“Yo.” Archer raised one hand in greeting, his voice loud enough to catch the Servant’s attention.
“Nice weather we’re having, huh?”
This is going to hurt a lot...
