Sometimes I wonder if being in a fandom is worth it. I’m always scared to post my own opinions and thoughts on things because I feel like people will take it the wrong way, no matter how I word things. Sure you can always talk it over and explain yourself, but people will still judge your thoughts. There’s always hate towards a specific ship or character and people will judge you if you post “I hate x” or “I don’t like this ship”. I thought it was okay to dislike and have differing views as long as you respect one another.
