His magic was gone and his staff had been replaced by a wooden replica. Only the use of his borg remained. It was worrisome, how these scientist could simply take ones power away like that. Though Solomon was not one to wish immense power, not having his magic left him with little defenses.
There was not much that the magician could do other than find out more about this city, about the scientist. So there he sat, in a quiet grassy area, his eyes trained intently on the bound pages of print he held in his hands. Though it was not wielding any answers, it was a start. Or, at least it was until he found his light source being blocked by someone standing over him.
❝...❞ He blinked, frowning slightly at the intrusion before he looked up, seeing the person standing before him. ❝Hm ... I didn't think anyone would find me here.❞

Of the sectors that Yunan had seen, this one was by far his least favorite. Though he enjoyed the dark, in all the places that he hid, it was still a healthy environment. The Great Rift was only covered in darkness, that and even the Dark Continent was flourishing. But this sector was filled with smog. Just being there was hard for Yunan to bear with. He would have to make note of it to leave this sector behind and only come back if necessary. Even the Wandering Magi was willing to mark places he would never go. And for him this was now on that list.
Ready to turn and leave, the Magi could not help but notice a single rukh fly passed him. The part that piqued his curiosity was that the rukh was black. “Could one of them really be here,” he muttered, remembering the Kou Empire’s Magi as well as the old magi from Alma Torran. The only reason the rukh would be able to turn black was if one of them were here, either that or a powerful person from Solomon’s world had fallen into depravity.
Happy birthday, Tyler -- otherwise known as our beloved mod oo1! ( @humanifying + @rukhism )
Thank you for all that you do, for having established a creative platform for hundreds upon hundreds of people to develop their own intricately woven narratives. This community has been thriving for a good 3 years, soon to be 4 -- here’s to the man behind it. Not simply a mod, a writer, a musician, a creator and a friend to all.
Have a wonderful day, Tyler. Try to take it easy. We love you!

“Gods, Judar. What the hell’s the point of having a phone if you’re not gonna answer it. Anyway, I wanted to know something.”
“That invitation to come stay with you. That still on the table or what? Let me know.”

“Wow there’s certainly a foul breeze in the air tonight. I’d advise everyone to stay inside.”
