So much destruction.  Yunan could already feel the area turning black.  This city would forever be changed by the events that were going on. The Magi pulled his hat down to cover his face for the briefest of moments.  This much despair would be enough so that not even he could hold it at bay.  If he let that feeling take control, he did not want to know what would happen.  Instead, he would do what he could in his own way. As the Magi touched down lightly on the ground, he could hear the footsteps of the creatures hunting for him and any other living being.

The drones rounded a corner, running straight for the defenseless Magi.  One of them raised a sword to cut the wizard in half.  Before the blade to make contact, a yellow field appeared around the Magi, knocking the drone and their sword backwards.  At least for now, and despite not liking being in the middle of a fight, Yunan would let his borg do the work of protecting him, at least for the time being. There were still people out there that might want to find some sanctuary.  

Yunan moved his staff, expanding his borg so that he could form a new defensive sphere around himself, before he called out, “is anyone here?”

“This is a first,” Yunan commented as he gently landed after flying into yet another area.  He scanned the area in search of anything that could lead him to someone that that could use sanctuary.  On that thought he looked back up to the sky to make sure that his creation was still floating above the chaos.  Pleased to see that it was there he decided to continue on his search.  

Just exiting the alley, the Magi found himself meeting a group of the drones that were wandering across the city, hunting for people just like him.  The Magi scowled at this.  Of all the things he disliked corrupted beings were pretty high on the list.  Normally he would try to avoid combat with them and find ways to help the people from falling into depravity, but that was not possible with these spawn.  He did not know enough magic formulas that would be able to remove the darkness that was within them.  After all, he knew no way of turning black rukh back into white rukh, the only person he knew that could perform that feat was Aladdin.  

Before he could make a decision on how to attack the swarm was already inbound on his position.  Though his borg would block these attacks, he still did not want to deal with any blow that was strong enough to send him bouncing.  Yunan raised his staff to cast a spell, though there was not enough time as the swarm already began their weak attacks against his borg.

The sun was up and shining brightly.  Yunan made sure to keep to the shade.  He was not too fond of sunlight.  Perhaps it was because he was directing all of his attention at protecting his frail body from the harsh rays that he was not looking directly in front of himself. When he ran into another person he was surprised.  

“I’m sorry, I guess I wasn’t looking,” he smiled, while trying to make sure the other person was okay from the collision.  Upon getting a better look at the person Yunan could get a certain sense from the person, based on the flow of rukh in the area.  A gleam appeared in his eyes as he had taken a certain curiosity in this stranger.

It all seemed like a good idea at the start.  Yunan had found himself a nice, narrow, dark, and cozy place to hide away from the world and truly get some rest.  Now, the place he had found was a nice sized barrel full of apples, bound for Sector 004.  What the Magi had not counted on was the sudden rough road that was being taken and that the barrel he had chosen would be the one to fall out the back onto the road.

“Ara?” He questioned upon getting the feeling of falling. Normally the barrel would have broken on the hard surface, especially with the weight of the apples and the Magi. The traveler did deserve credit though, for he found a very sturdy barrel that survived the drop.  Only the top of the barrel fell out, letting the top of the Magi’s hat stick out, giving a very unique look to the barrel that was now rolling down the street, spilling apples everywhere.

TEXT: Baal might be ideal… TEXT: Manipulating something of this size with Valefor equipped would drain my magoi faster than I’d like, even with the snow nearby. TEXT: If you know I way I could replenish my magoi with Baal equipped… TEXT: Do you? Have you been holding out on me all these years?

Yunan saw the destruction that was going on.  There was only one thing he knew he could do in this situation.  Sinbad was already fighting, or at least would be. The Magi had no doubt that he would be. This meant that all he had to do was play to his strength.  He knew that not all those in the city would be able to fight against these creatures, this meant he would have to find a safe place for those who might need rest from fighting, and as long as they were in the range of the small creatures below they would never get that rest.  

 As he floated in the air Yunan began to control the magoi within himself as well as letting the rukh flow into him, allowing him to have far more magoi to cast a more complex version of a spell he was completely used to casting.  “Al-Kimia Al-Qadima!”

The rukh began to pull together and form trees in the sky before breaking apart and forming logs.  Before long each part of the new floating house was put together.  As he went inside his structure he planted his staff firmly against the ground once inside.  Outside the house a large barrier of golden hexagons linked together.  This was the defensive magic that the Wandering Magi was so known for.  Even if he was not good at fighting, this much was something he could do.  Now all that was left was letting others know that they can use this home to rest.  Of course he would need to pick them up, or at least make a way for them to reach it.

OOC: So basically Yunan has made a floating house that is protected by one of his borgs, or at least his defensive magic.  The house has replenish-able food and drinks as well as bed space.  It is meant to serve as a sanctuary for those who don’t want to fight or just need to rest.  Feel free to use it!  If the house is missing anything let Yunan know and he will create it for you to feel some ease during these dark times.

Yo! As I get my bum in gear for other starters and replies I owe, here is a rp ad for Yunan for part 2 of the event.  If you are in need of forming alliances Yunan will be attempting to get people together to take on this threat.  He also has his full abilities back, so that means lightning finger pistols and someone who does not like watching others get bullied, so expect the passive Magi to take a stand if need be.  This will be uncapped unless stated further!

Meeting a hamster’s really rare, especially out of nowhere on his way ‘home’. ‘Home’… this term’s pretty questionable if he had to confess– It’s his ‘home’, right? However… it didn’t seem to be cozy nowhere compared to the house he lived in. Why’s the pathetic him thinking about this? The hamster’s where his priority’s at.

As he turned his focus onto the hamster, he knew something’s wrong with it. Wouldn’t a hamster attempt to run away from a human passing by? Yet, it didn’t. One doubt’s proven when he saw the hamster’s wounded leg, so that’s why it’s not moving away from him… The real question’s … how would he actually help the hamster out? Like, he’s not a good animal carer, nor someone experienced in it at all! 

“E..Eh, this’s going to be hard…”

“Hmmhmmmmmhmmm,” Yunan hummed as he journeyed down one of the streets he had not been on before. He was still creating the maps of the city in his mind so he could find everything that he wanted.  “Ohhhh,” he sounded while catching a glimpse of what appeared to be a young man and something much smaller near him.  The first thing that caught the Magi’s attention was the flow of the rukh.  Though it was much stronger around his compatriots from his own world that he found in this city, he could still see the rukh flock around other individuals as well.  And this young man had white rukh flowing around him, something that would definitely attract the Wandering Magi’s curiosity.  

“What a nice little friend you have there,” he remarked when he got close enough and could see the way the hamster was looking at the young man.

Efi was usually running around somewhere. She barely stayed put, only doing so when actually told that she had to or when she was too tired to keep wandering around. So, obviously, when she was wandering around she tended to let her nose be her guide, if she let anything at all since often times she ended up going wherever the road led. She skidded to a stop in the middle of the sidewalk, ignoring the angry mutters from others as her nose twitched. Something smelled good and she was gonna find it! She followed the smell, which she found wasn’t actually that far away as all she had to do was backtrack a few feet and turn down a street. So many sweets!

Her eyes practically glowed as she looked around, trying to figure out which vendor to go to first. In the end, her eyes fell not on a vendor but on some guy in weird clothes. Ooh, what he had looked tasty! She ran up to him, jumping and waving her arms to catch his attention. “Mister! Where’d you get that? It looks really, really good!”

“Huh?” The Magi reacted upon the boisterous person arriving in front of him, asking where he got the treat he had bought for himself.  Initially taken by surprise and not knowing what to do the Magi looked down to the person with a smile, “I don’t remember.”

The line was delivered as seriously as one could with a smile on their face.  Though it took a second for Yunan to realize that this was most likely not the answer that the person before him had in mind. In fact, it was almost unlike him to not remember something.  “Oh…I may not remember the name of the place but it should be around here somewhere, I can help you look for it.”

Even if the girl turned down his offer of help to find the place where he found his delicious treat, he would still go in search for it.  A journey that was fit for a wanderer.

It’s been said that there some people whose voices you will never tire of hearing. If that’s true, then the opposite must also be true: there must be some people whose voices you will never tire of not hearing. For Sinbad, that voice is Yunan’s. The poor man isn’t even in his line of sight, and already Sinbad feels his mood souring. It’s astonishing, the effect that man has on him.

Under his breath, he mutters something about a dirty snake before putting on as neutral a face as he can manage before facing one of the few people who dares try to put him “in his place,” as it were. “It would be bad business to leave the shop unattended during hours,” he says plainly. “I assume that’s why you bothered coming all this way, instead of popping up out of the blue the way you usually do?”

A grin spread across the Magi’s face as he listened to the lecture he was receiving. “Come now Sinbad, it would be no fun if I just did the same thing over and over again,” Yunan said while leaning against one of the walls.  “I thought seeing your establishment and possibly speaking to someone else would be of great benefit to me, though I was not expecting you to be here.  How about a cup of tea to ease the tensions?”

At wanting to make the tea Yunan raised his staff and used the incantation for the magic formula that he was known for using.  “Al-Kimia Al-Qadima!”

Normally, the rukh would flow together and create what it was that he wanted. This was different though.  There was no moving rukh and there most certainly wasn’t anything being created.  At realizing how much the loss of his powers meant to him, Yunan broke down while holding his staff in front of him with both hands.  “I don’t like this place…I can’t use my magic…I can’t have tea…” he cried.

Alrighty, well before I get to my other posts I owe (lookin’ at the blond guy that gets lost), I wanted to let you all know I’m going to be at a con this weekend so I will most likely not be making posts unless I get extremely bored, which hopefully won’t happen.  Anyways, for some added humor I’ll actually be cosplaying as both my muses here at Citta (did not plan it that way).  So yeah, I’ll be off in nerd heaven for a while.  Mun out.

"I had a dream about an ocean. It wasn't blue, though. It was actually a red color and there was a tree in it. Just out in the middle. Not a small tree either, but a big one that didn't have any leaves or anything. Do you think you know what this means?"

“It seems that what you speak of must be quite important, it is not just anywhere that you may find a tree amidst a red ocean.  Though perhaps the red could mean disaster, adding in the tree the only thing that I can see is the Green Sector, though it is normally covered in fire.  Perhaps what you seek is in that area, though the bareness of the tree might suggest that you won’t like what you find.  I wish you luck on finding whatever this is!” -sips tea-
