May 18, 2019 - Venus transiting Taurus meets Uranus

Venus is at home in Taurus, the Sign she rules. She is really strong now, so values, finances, relationships, women and harmony come to the forefront. Taurus energy is about values, possessions, comfort, pleasure seeking, stability of resources, and wellbeing. With four cosmic bodies in Taurus, namely, the Sun, Mercury, Uranus and its ruler, Venus, one can surely be focused on those issues.

Uranus at 3º Taurus receives his daughter, Venus’ visit. Uranus is at fall in Taurus, not in his strongest energy, however, Venus meeting with him, can be jolting and provoke a rebellion, or a sudden upheaval to values, relationships, financial resources and yes, women’s issues (like sexual rights). Beware, that Venus is not submissive in Taurus, on the contrary, she is assertive and knows what she is worth! In fact, her father, Uranus does nothing but help her.

Moreover, Uranus was last in Taurus more than 70 years ago. The meeting with Venus, its ruler, starts a two year cycle we have probably never seen in our lifetimes, unless we are more than 70. Whatever starts today, a relationship, a financial decision, a love interest, will last about two years until Venus comes back to Taurus and meets again with Uranus. With the nervous electrical energy of Uranus it can work on and off, be unstable, unreliable, surprising, unconventional, and liberating.

Still, Mercury even though weak, trine Pluto, thinks and talks with power, giving us information that can turn our world upside down. It is important to pay attention to our psyche, to close our eyes to see and listen. Clear communication will come through the mind’s ability to connect to energy.
