hi guys! i just wanted to address some things that i've noticed are increasing in my ask box:
1. it's not kind to demand a longer version of something. i spend a lot of time picking and prodding over what i write, and as of right now, i don't feel like i'm gonna be writing anything over 1-2k words. if i've already posted about a topic, please don't ask for a longer version. that's very rude to me and what i've already posted. if i had more to say, i would've said it.
2. 'need'. you don't need anything from me, you want stuff from me. i find it very rude and almost dehumanizing to open my ask box and find demands like that. i don't mind being asked to write something, but please be kind with your requests!
3. and finally, as a general reminder, i'm only human. i can only do so much. having a tumblr blog and being able to write and be appreciated is a gift, but it's also not something my life revolves around. i have other responsibilities and things to do. please remember this!
i love you guys! just wanted to set some boundaries and touch on some things :)

This is just my fun little hobby, so I’m only going to write what genuinely tickles me. If I’m dreading an idea or forcing myself to crank something out, it’s not going to be fun for either of us—and trust me, you’ll be able to tell in the writing. If I’m not feeling a request, I’ll just quietly pass on it. Or, if I love your idea and just don’t think I can do it, I’ll just say that so you can find someone who can <3
2. Why I Might Pass on Your Request
Too vague: Something like “can I get some fluff for ____?” gives me almost nothing to work off. Fluff about what? A scenario? A vibe? A dynamic? An inspo picture?
Overly specific: On the other end of the spectrum, if your request is basically a 3-page outline of exactly what should happen and what every line of dialogue should be, I don’t have any room to add my own spin. I am happy to take into account vibes or world building ideas until the cows come home. But if it’s something like, “___ x reader where they’re at her grandparents house and she’s a librarian so they met at the library and they’re watching tv and eating popcorn and they put their hand on her leg and—” you get the point.
I don’t know the character or fandom you’re asking for (it happens a lot but feel more than welcome to ask if I know!)
Or simply… I’m just not feeling it. (It’s never personal!)
3. How to Get a “Yes” from Me
Be specific but chill—give me a vibe, dynamic, or fun moment to build on, like: “Could you write something where ___ is really protective and it turns into something really soft?”
Toss in little details or aesthetics to get me inspired!! I love inspo pics or dialogue ideas or any little inspo bit!!!
4. A Quick Note on Readers & Style
I write female readers only (I’m a girl and that’s what I know best).
I live for AUs of all shapes and sizes, feel free to send me any ideas you have for one!! Some notable ones I’ve done are: fireman!Ben, mechanic!Dean, and football coach!ben. Sone of my favorite reader characters have been: handler!reader x soldier boy, nurse!reader x soldier boy, and pr wife!reader x soldier boy.
I’ll always tweak or skip over small details I don’t like rather than scrapping a whole request, so don’t stress about being “perfect.”
5. My “No’s” (for now)
Here’s what I currently don’t write:
Any kind of violent dynamic between characters in a relationship. Toxic is fine, but there will be no parter on partner violence. I also tend to stray from anything that really includes violence towards women outside of the action scene kind of scenario.
This list is always evolving, and I’ll add to it as needed. At the end of the day, if I don’t like a prompt, I simply won’t write it—no hard feelings, no explanations needed.
