"Prowl.. how long have you been on this terminal? You seem like you need some rest."
Prowl startled--he'd been ignoring the world outside his processors and the databases on the screen for--he checked his chronometers--two full shifts. He turned his seat to look up at the black-plated medic standing beside him. "Ah. Doctor. My apologies, I didn't hear you arrive. I'm working on some parallel history deviations. There are small divergences between timelines, most of which eventually re-converge after intersecting with other correlated historical lines. The patterns are too regular to be randomly generated, but I have not yet discerned what makes an event into a divergence event." He twitched his doors back into their proper on-duty set and turned back toward his screens. "Additional data sets from additional universes have helped define the patterns."
