Our First Rum Tasting Night...... Thursday 16th Feb 2017 7.30pm. Appleton Estate Chairmans Reserve Ron Cubay 12 Plantation 20th Anniversary Ron Millanario XO Hosted by renowned mixologist Aaron Gilbert and our Bar Manager, Rachel Seghir Barnes. There will be a brief introduction to Rum as a category paying particular attention to Caribbean Rum before tasting begins in the order laid out above. Beginning with Appleton's original blend before moving through to some older Rum variations from across the islands showcasing each islands unique flavours and differences before ending with Ron Millanario XO to show how different the Rum category can be across the globe and how much of an impact the ageing process can have on effectively the same base spirit. We will also provide Jamaican Tapas - taste some of the best dishes on our menu. Only 10 tickets available for this event - £50 per ticket includes all rums and food.
