RUMOR Report
NBA executives believe Trae Young might consider joining the Los Angeles Lakers after signing with Klutch Sports.
Just a reminder, Anthony Davis signed with Klutch in September of 2018 and was traded to the Lakers in June of 2019.
Patoranger v Lupinranger Rumor Report November 29, 2017
Welp, December is just a few sleeps away! That means we are very, very close to our first (blurry!) official images of the team and hopefully some merchandise! Until then, expect rumors to trickle out a day at a time like last year.
Our latest rumor comes from Dukemon22 as usual, and you can find it here. According to this rumor, there is increased belief that both of the teams will consist of three rangers each. One time (most likely the Patos) will be red, blue, and yellow; the other team (we think the Lupins) will be red, green, and pink. Pink and yellow are believed to be female. In addition, green is rumored to be a darker shade of green like GokaiGreen.
As usual, here are my thoughts.
The Good
I like the potential team compositions. Red, blue, and yellow are a traditional color group for Sentai which makes them perfect for the more traditionally heroic Patos. And while red, green, and pink don’t exactly scream “anti-hero”, I always liked how green and pink look together so I’d be happy to see them on a team.
I’m glad they’re sticking to six rangers (to start). Going back to a more traditional team size after the incredibly ambitious Kyuranger is a nice break.
I’ll be honest. I didn’t actually notice that GokaiGreen had a different shade compared to other greens. That being said, I like the idea of a darker green for phantom thieves.
The Bad
I’m not mad that they’re doing two reds. I’m disappointed.
I’m also a little disappointed that we’re going back to such a traditional colour scheme. I know we’ve had a lot of unique colour schemes in a row, but I really miss the idea of the Lupins being gold, silver, and bronze.
I couldn’t figure out which list to put this in, but no I am not upset that the Lupins don’t have a blue for the same reason I was not upset that the Go-On Wings did not have a blue. They may be separate teams, but the Patorangers and the Lupinrangers are sharing a season. So as far as I care, the two teams are indivisible no matter how different their goals may be. As long as one team has a blue, I’m happy.
So yeah, pretty harmless rumour. Despite my mild misgivings, I like the idea of it quite a bit. What do you think? Sound off in the comments down below or in reblogs.
