A small reminder for lovely content creators who worry about notes or low interactions

Remember that notes aren’t everything, you should feel happy and comfortable to post whatever you want without worrying if something “flops” worry about it or being extremely dependent on notes will only break you and never make you. Notes are extremely big for boosting one’s confidence, but please don’t worry/rely on them too much since it causes more stress and makes what you enjoy to do not fun anymore.

If it’s not fun for you anymore, you’re bound to lose motivation to push out your content which could also leave you to deactivating or going on an indefinite hiatus. Please remember what you push out is for free and that you don’t owe anyone. They may request it, but that doesn’t mean you were obligated to do it. If a post doesn’t get as much recognition as expected or wanted, don’t worry about it too much. It may suck for a little bit, but you’re gonna have to push through it, because its the Internet, things are bound to be lost within the crowd.

You should enjoy whatever content you create, whether if it’s art, writing, edits, or something else! Just know that you’re amazing at what you do and have amazing people who thinks that as well!! Please make sure to take small breaks in between if you start to feel less motivated and don’t force yourself to push out more content, that’ll only make matters worse for you mentally. Numbers aren’t everything, it’s the people that tells you that they enjoy it, no matter if it’s via comment, rb, or ask. You’re always appreciated and keep up the great work!! <3
