since i'v seen so many nice movie stills on your tumblr: what are your favourite movies?

okay first a warning: I'm gonna write a book here because honestly, we love so so many movies, and there's two of us...there are lots of movies we appreciate for their aesthetic appeal, mainly from the late sixties/early seventies:    •    rusalochka    •    valerie and her week of wonders    •    who are you polly maggoo    •    sedmikrasky    •    cactus flower    •    ciao manhattan    •    sid and nancy    •    the holy mountain    •    they call her one eye    •    and probably lots more I'm just not remembering.sixties japanese movies:    •    lots of chanbara/jidaigeki, kurosawa, kobayashi et al    •    teshigahara    •    some seijun suzuki

90's hong kong martial arts movies, and the few 60's ones I've been able to get my hands on. king hu in particular, and tsui hark.maybe a list of directors would be better because I can list movies for days on end:    •    any and all quentin tarantino!    •    some robert rodriguez.     •    sofia coppola    •    wes anderson    •    the coen brothers    •    felleni    •    sergio leone    •    some dario argenta    •    godard    •    truffant    •    wong kar-wai, I don't know if anyone can love his movies more than I do.     •    park chan-wook    •    zhang yimou    •    miyazaki

and probably more that I'll remember later and be pissed that I forgot.
