I haven’t identified my next marathon yet. So to say that I’m “back to training” after my December layoff simply isn’t correct. And, I still hadn’t found the love for running again. Until today. I hit the snowy trails for a very tough 10k run. I was the first to trudge many parts of it since the last winter storm. I hit the trail for the first run since my last marathon a week ago. After 3 marathons in 7 weeks I was running out of duty rather than love. I needed a break. Today felt amazing.
