Idk if i'll ever get back to reading log horizon because i don't think i can drudge up the motivation to put up with the weird way the younger girls (and all the women too if we're being honest) are written, BUT i have been thinking about rudy so much recently. Character of all time, fr. The way he wanted to be an adventurer so bad, and now he IS one, but like...not actually, right? Because he may have the body of one, and he may be friends with them, but he's never going to be from the same world as them. He's never going to have that same shared experience as all of them, of being trapped somewhere different and scary and away from all their family, and unable to go home. And yet, he's also fundamentally different from the people of the land now too. He doesn't belong anywhere anymore.
