Want one of those nasty Rune Beetles?
Kitiara from UOCraft demonstrates how to use peacemaking to tame a rune beetle. Because a rune beetle's poisoning skill can be above 100/GM, it is best not to use the paralyze spell when taming them. Paralyze-taming results in an additional 4% penalty off of the beast's skills, and in the case of skills above 100, that 4% cannot be reclaimed by training. Peacemaking works very well for taming these creatures.
